While the Americans are celebrating the launch of a petrol-powered Audi SQ5 at the Detroit Motor Show, German tuner B&B is busy tuning the diesel version  for the European customers. And they begin with a substantial power boost.

The SQ5 comes as standard with a body kit, so it doesn’t really need any further work on that front. B&B has focused all its energy on the performance, and came up with three stages of power upgrade.

The standard 3.0-liter V6 TDI in this car makes 313 hp and 650 Nm of torque. Stage I will adjust the boost pressure on the turbos and install a revised software, thus increasing the output to 340 hp and 730 Nm. It costs just under 1,500 Euros.

Stage II is similar to Stage I, but the software it uses a bit beefier, and results in an increase to 365 hp and 750 Nm, for 1,700 Euros. What you want is Stage II, which in addition to software and boost, also includes modification to the intercooler, intake and injection systems. As a result you get 395 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque; totally worth the 4,950 Euros price tag.

B&B also offers sport lowering springs, new wheels, and sport exhaust system for Audi SQ5 TDI.
