Volkswagen’s loyal tuner ABT releases its latest package for the latest Tiguan crossover. The compact SUV segment is running quite hot these days, and this is ABT’s answer to the increasing demand for something different and exciting in this class.
Visually, the ABT Tiguan features exclusive front grille, the door strip attachments, the rear skirt set with the striking exhaust pipes and the rear spoiler. Add to that a set of ER-C or DR wheels, and you end up with one sweet looking small utility vehicle.
ABT never forgets about the performance. For the Tiguan, they begin with the 2.0-TDI and boost it in a three stage program. It kicks off with 40 hp/103 kW (serial version: 110 hp/81 kW), goes up to 170 hp/125 kW (serial version: 140 hp/103 kW), and ends up at 195 hp/143 kW (serial version: 170 hp/125 kW).
The 1.4l turbo petrol is also taken care of, delivering 160 hp/118 kW, 180 hp/132 kW or even as much as 210 hp/154 kW, depending on the version you have in your Tiguan.
