Alfa Romeo is launching a new limited edition version of the Ala Romeo MiTo in the United Kingdom, which they say combines safety and technology with a passion for music. What they are saying there in long word is that it comes with a kicking BOSE sound system.
In addition to the high fidelity BOSE sound system, the Live also gets Pioneer’s innovative AppRadio system which lets users connect and access their smartphone’s apps through a seven-inch multi-touch screen. It brings up your Facebook and Twitter to the screen. Why you need to check your Facebook while driving is beyond us, but this system enables other useful features as well, such as access to Maps, Photos, Calendar and other selected apps.
AS for the bespoke sound system, it features nine high-performance speakers including a subwoofer mounted in a bespoke bass enclosure. A digital amplifier mounted in the foot well on the passenger side. It’s gotta sound good!
Engine-wise, the MiTo Live is powered by the 85 bhp TwinAir 875cc twin-cylinder turbo engine that does 67.3mpg over a combined cycle with just 98g/km CO2 emission. This little fella also comes with a lot of electronic systems including Alfa’s DNA system, enhanced VDC (ABS + ASR + Brake Assist) and hill holder and electronic Q2.
As for the styling, the Alfa Romeo MiTo Live features an exclusive Alfa Red exterior color with contrasting gloss black roof, wing mirrors and door handles. Tinted windows and 17” titanium Sport alloy wheels add to the visual drama of the Live.
