Each year Neiman Marcus Christmas Book picks a car launched which their experts deem significant enough to represent the luxury brand. They give that car a very mild makeover inside and out, and put it on sale for a staggering price.
This year Neiman Marcus teamed up with Maserati and together they unveiled the Ghibli Neiman Marcus Edition, celebrating both the Christmas and 100th anniversary of the Italian car maker. Limited to 100 units, this special Ghibli costs a whopping $95,000. Usually, Neiman’s cars sell out in a matter of hours.
As for what makes Maserati Ghibli Neiman Marcus special edition worth the asking price, well for starters it comes with a Neiman Marcus badge and that is worth its weight in gold. You also get Grigio Maratea paint job, 20-inch wheels, red brake calipers and blacked-out grille. Inside the cabin the fully-loaded Maser comes with cuoio leather with contrast stitching including the Trident log on the headrests, sport pedals, piano black trim pieces and Bowers & Wilkins sound system.
Maserati Ghibli Neiman Marcus Edition is only available with one powertrain option and that is the V6-twin-turbo unit from the Ghibli S. It also comes as standard with Q4 all-wheel-drive system. For roughly the same price as this car, you can get a standard V8-powered Quattroporte.
