From the day that Mercedes released a preview of the 2009 Mercedes Benz McLaren SLR Stirling Moss we were dying to see the car live, and now thanks to Mercedes private event in Detroit, we can! And would you look at the car! I can’t stress enough how desirable that thing is, not only because it is a 650hp 220mph supercar, mainly because of the fact that this car is a tribute to the greatest driver of all times, Sir Stirling Moss and is the modern day equivalent of his original SLR 722. Unfortunately they only will make 75 units and each costs more than $1million, so it’s kinda an impossible dream, but if I ever get to drive one I wouldn’t wear that ridiculous aviator glasses!
