Alright, check this out! As BMW is working on the next generation of its 6-series GT car, which will be introduced after the new 5-series so that’d be 2011-12, this picture has emerged spreading the rumor that a four-door variant of the 6er might be in the pipeline as well. That’s what the word is.

Now under normal circumstances it wouldn’t make sense at all why BMW should have another four-door sedan in its range. But this is no normal circumstances! This is the time when we get the Porsche Panamera, which is a four-door GT and don’t forget BMW has no direct rival for the Mercedes CLS, so… a coupe-looking sedan with some GT flavour sounds like quit a recipe for today’s market!

We don’t know currently how much of this imaginary car will make it to the reality, or will the next 6-series look like this or not, but judging on the picture it’s quit like the M3 honestly! And that should be a good sign, because if we review BMW design in the past 5 or 6 years, all of them were horrible except for the E92 3-series coupe and specially the M3. Now if BMW will follow that design line instead of insisting on ugly cars, that’s something to celebrate!
