Last year Audi Motorsport introduced a GT3 version of the R8 Supercar for their customer sport programme, which turned out to be a successful racer. Now for the 2010 season, they have upgraded and improved the car, and offer the evolution-version of the Audi R8 LMS. This car is priced at 298,000 Euros and it’s already sold out! As you see in the picture, American team United Autosport was the first to receive their machines.

The improvements of the new R8 LMS include revised chassis and suspension, upgraded engine’s cooling system, optimized electronics and exhaust system. It also gets a newly developed six-speed racing transmission which is now easier to maintain and fix.
