Alfa Romeo UK has come up with a new special edition of the MiTo, called the Turismo Sport, which of course features some new styling cues but it’s main mission is to make this sport Italian hatchback more accessible for the masses. Even though the car packs £1,610 worth of optional equipment, it starts from just £12,895, or even better, you can have it for just £199 a month with a £1,000 deposit.
For £12,895 you get the MiTo Turismo Sport with the 1.4 petrol engine developing 95 bhp. But if you are willing to spend £14,410 (£219 a month with a £1000 deposit), you can have it with the 1.3 JTDM-2 95bhp MultiJet turbodiesel, which has the same sorta power but is more economical and greener at (65.7mpg and 112g/km of CO2).
Special features of the Alfa MiTo Turismo Sport special edition includes 16” alloy wheels, rear spoiler, cruise control, Blue & Me technology, fog lights and a leather steering wheel incorporating audio and phone controls, in addition to the car’s standard air conditioning and D.N.A system.
