ABT does its thing for the 2012 Audi A6 Avant to create one of the world’s most elegant and sporty estate cars.

They picked the turbo diesel version to tune and thanks to the ABT POWER kit managed to raise the power from 245 HP/180 kW to 300 HP/221 kW. Then they thought some people might not need that much power. Odd! So they also did the weaker version and boosted the 3.0 TDI from 204 HP/150 kW to 240 HP or 177 kW.

There is also a hot version based on the 300 hp V6 petrol for performance-minded drivers with 420 HP (309 kW). It does zero to 100 km/h in five seconds.

Apart from the engine upgrade program, ABT also provides a subtle body kit consisting of front spoiler, rear skirt insert and 4-end pipes, side skirts, and rear spoiler. Then there’s the ABT sport rims in 19 to 21 inch size with sports tires.

This is a classic German tuning job for a classic German station wagon. It’s brilliant, if you like that sort of things.
