British high-end tuner Merdad has come up with a solution to make the McLaren MP4-12C as exciting to look as it should have been.
And they succeed where McLaren designer failed! Merdad’s MP4 called the MehRon GT, is more of a facelift, or to be more precise, a coachbuilt job than just a body kit. It totally revamps the slightly boring look of the MP4, giving it a more dramatic, more exciting design.
The revised bumpers complete with fender extension and new sills create a very visually appealing car, while maintaining it’s aerodynamic characteristics. Merdad even promises a GT3 version in future.
They have also solved the car’s other problem, its terrible name. Instead of MP4-12C, they call it the MehRon. That’s curious, because both Merdad and Mehron are Persian names. So we got a family thing going on here. In any case, it’s better than MP4-12C.
The kit is still in development phase and they released these picture on their website just as a preview. We’re guessing the real thing will look even better.
