Maserati released the first pictures of a new version of the GranTurismo, called the Sport.
Set for debut at the upcoming 2012 Geneva Motor Show, the GranTurismo Sport is a sort of tarted up and stiffened version of the standard GT.
It features many upgrades, chief among which a revised 4.7 liter V8 engine developing 460hp. Given the magnificent soundtrack of the standard engine, one should imagine this sporty version makes an even better racket.
The Sport is visually distinguished thanks to a new front bumper which has two new air intakes – optimizing the front air flows for both engine and brake cooling, DRL Led headlights and smoked tail lights.
The interior benefits from new front and rear seats and a new steering wheel with a more sporty and muscular look. These seemingly small details add up to make big difference in the overall feel of the car.
