Audi Q3 is widely regarded as a boring crossover among the journalists. Evo’s Harry Metacalfe once said he’d rather fill up his tax form than drive this car. Enough said! Now Audi tuner ABT has released a package for the car that might enliven things up a bit. The ABT QS3 was first revealed at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this month.
ABT begins with the looks, and tries to give the car a sportier appearance with a revised front-end featuring a massive grille, new side skirts, a rear apron with diffuser unit and four tailpipes, and a roof spoiler. ABT wheels are also available, from 18 to 21 inch with high performance tires.
The tuner then gets busy with the engines, and provides the 177-hp 2.0 liter diesel unit with 205 hp, and the 211-hp 2.0 liter petrol with 270-hp. The S3 in the QS3’s name according to ABT stands for Sporty, Strong, Speedy.
An interior package with carbon fiber trims, leather and Alcantara wraps things up.
