The first images of the modern-day Disco Volante, made by coachbuilder Carrozzeria Touring, have hit the web ahead of the car’s official debut.
This exquisite looking thing will get its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show next week, showing a modern version of the 1950’s car in its 60th anniversary.
This being a once-off, it features a hand-made aluminum body on top of Alfa Romeo 8C’s chassis and underpinnings. Like the original car, the new Disco has a very aerodynamic body with 0.25 drag coefficient. The engine comes from the 8C as well, a 450hp V8 with a magnificent soundtrack.
We can already see the ‘Best Concept’ award in the Disco’s bag.
