The SL550 is what they call the SL500 in America. The car features a turbocharged V8 engine that makes 320 kW (435 hp) and 700 Nm of torque. The new SL550 has pretty much the same power-to-weight ration as the old SL55, so it’s just as fast. It also kinda renders the new SL63 pointless, because it delivers 80 percent of the performance, for 50 grand less.
