This is the moment drag racer Matt Hagan’s ridiculously powerful ‘funny car’ explodes at 260mph, during a qualifying run for the Four-Wide Nationals in Charlotte, North Carolina. It was a full-on explosion with fire and everything. And remember he was traveling at 260 when it went boom. But amazingly Matt manages to control the car, bring it to a stop, and walk out. Not a care in the world!

Some say he was just pissed off he couldn’t finish the run. Not sure if this guy’s invincible or what, but he can give Richard Hammond a few tips on car control! Watch the astonishing footage here:
