Alfa Romeo might only make two cars – Giulietta and MiTo – but each of them has thirty million different versions to choose from. Well, at least in the UK they do. Now it seems they want to offer the same variety of models in Italy as well, by adding the new Sportiva Line to the Giulietta range. It sits below the Quadrofoglio Verde in terms of poshness, and offers a more sporty feel- as the name suggests.

Features include  – on the outside – new side skirts, big 18-inch wheels in turbine design, red Brembo brake calipers, sport wing mirrors, lots of cloverleaf badges and one distinctive Sportiva one. Inside the cabin, it’s classic Alfa in terms of design, but you get new leather upholstery, aluminum sport pedals, and unique door sills.

The car can be had with the magnificent 170 horsepower MultiAir engine with Alfa’s TCT dual-clutch transmission, and two versions of the 2.0 JTDM diesel unit with 140 and 170 horsepower. The most powerful diesel can be had with the TCT as well.
