Alfa MiTo TwinAir at Alfa Romeo MiTo TwinAir UK Debut at Goodwood FoS

The new two-cylinder version of the Alfa Romeo MiTo, known as the TwinAir, is set for UK debut at the 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Seeing as a small hatchback does not stand out in an event with lots and lots of super cars around, Alfa decided to make some noise for it by hosting a series of live acoustic performances from three stellar artists on the Company’s exhibition stand. That will definitely grab some attention.

The artists listed to perform on Alfa’s stage include indie duo Tim Burgess and Mark Collins of The Charlatans, Ocean Colour Scene’s very own Brit rock legend Steve Cradock and upcoming alternative indie rockers Marner Brown. what if someone hates indie rock?

AS for the Alfa MiTo TwinAir, the car gets the same 875cc twin-cylinder turbo with variable intake valve technology and sub-100g/km CO2 emissions used in the Fiat 500 TwinAir. That Fiat is hugely popular in the UK mainly because it’s very fun to drive. The MiTo is a bit heavier, but it should be alright.

Other remarkable Alfa features at the festival include Alfa 8C Spider at the moving motor show, and our cars from Alfa Romeo’s priceless heritage collection including the 1932 Gran Premio Tipo B ‘P3’, 1953 Alfa 6C 3000CM, 1972 Alfa GTA 1300 Junior as well as the more recent 1993 Alfa 155 V6 TI DTM.
