Some say Ken Block is just a lucky bastard who became famous just because he’s good at being a yob in his car. But this video shows us how dedicated he is to his work. Winning is so important to him that he keeps on racing in spite of the fact that his entire center console in on fire, mere centimeters away from his right leg. That’s the stuff champions are made of.

The incident happened during one of the heats at Global Rally Cross SEMA. Block was leading the race ahead of Tanner Foust. He eventually had to retire and put the fire out. Ken had won all the previous heats.
