Wrapping expert Cam Shaft has come up with an upgrade package for the R version of Golf VI. They call it the Electrified Golf because of its special wrap, but neither the wrap nor that name are cool. However, they’ve also given it a performance boost that is more than make up for the visual mess.
Golf R comes as standard with a four-cylinder turbo engine that makes 270 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque. It’s a fast little fella. The Cam Shaft version gets software optimization level 2, Platinum spark plugs and a downpipe. As a result it makes 325 hp and 430 Nm of Torque.
To make sure the car can cope with this significant bump in power, the tuner has fitted it with Tarox F2000 braking system, H&R professional suspension, and OZ Ultraleggera wheels.
