General Motors will reveal the new generation Chevrolet Corvette on January 13, but the internet can’t wait that long. As we get closer to the unveiling day more and more details and pictures of the new Corvette leak out. Here we have a bunch of Corvette C7 stuff for you; from the rear-end design, to the dashboard, engine compartment, even seats.
So let’s see what we can fish out from the pictures. The Corvette C7 has, by the looks of things, become more sporty than the previous generation. It has four uniquely designed vent openings at the back, four tailpipes all located in the middle, and taillights that appear to be inspired by the Camaro.
The interior seems different though. It seems more grown up and more logical somehow. Let’s hope the materials are improved as well. The dashboard has its classic Corvette look, but there is a new steering wheel, new instruments, and a large screen for the infotainment system. It features a Sport Overlay function which is suitable for track use. The seats are also new, and they are heated and ventilated. That is a sign the new Corvette will be easier to live with.
Under the vented bonnet you find the new LT1 V8 engine located behind the front axle for optimum weight distribution and better balance. With an output of around 450 horsepower and 610 Nm of torque in its standard guise, it comes with a number of new features that make driving the Corvette more interesting. It gets and Engine Sound Management system with different settings like auto, city, sport, etc., Active Rev Matching for the manual gearbox, and a Performance Data Recorder.

I am disappointed , even though it may look better as the actual vehicle , its a disappointment to me because its more of a sort of upgrade , then say a evolutionary design , what is shown here could have been released back in 2005 , if they had gone with the concept stingray a few years ago , made it some what more appealing from that design i would buy one , but this i wont , ill sick with a C6 and if they cart get the C8 right i guess ill movie on to a new vehicle standard .
