New Chinese car maker Qoros is on fire these days, working on a cool crossover model, and preparing their first production car for debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. These are the first pictures of Qoros sedan, officially called the GQ3, designed and built with European standards in mind.
Qoros has put together a design them consisting of experienced designers and young talents, working out of offices in Munich and Shanghai, under the supervision of Executive Director of Design, Gert Volker Hildebrand. They describe the GQ3 as a sporty and elegant family sedan with a coupé-like silhouette, long wheelbase and short overhangs. It has nice details such as matt aluminium strip above each side sill and muscular arches to accommodate 19-inch wheels.
As far as Chinese cars go, the GQ3 has a very good design. But it’s not going to cause a stir in the European market.
Being Chinese, Qoros GQ3 has a spacious interior packed with lot of features and equipment. It has an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system, capacitive touchscreen in place of traditional buttons, ‘Cloud’ connectivity and in-car networking functions with intuitive finger ‘swipe’ movements, and…
Technical specs are yet to be revealed. Qoros GQ3 goes on sale in China in the second half of 2013, with the first cars arriving in Europe later in the year.
