There is no denying that chrome cars are ostentatious and therefore very uncool. But that argument doesn’t hold water when the car in question is a Ferrari 458 Italia, and the tuner responsible for this work is SR Auto. For a Chinese customer they’ve wrapped a 458 in a two-tone black and red chrome foil. The end result is stunning.

The roof, the side skirts, and the trunk lid are finished in black, and the rest of the car in this special shade of red. SR then fitted the Ferrari with a set of 21-inch PUR 4OUR Monoblock wheels, also finished in black. Those yellow brake calipers soften the edges a bit.

This is now one of the most unique Ferrari 458s in the world.
