After its successful U.S. tour, the McLaren P1 is now in the Middle East to try and score some sales over there. The car is in Bahrain now, where it was presented to potential customers at the Sakhir F1 circuit. After that, it is going to the UAE.
The million dollar hyper car has everything it needs to make rich folks write a check for it on the spot, but it has two big problems; Ferrari F150 and Porsche 918. At the upcoming Geneva Motor Show these three super car giants will battle it out to win the hearts of customers.
The British contender features a lightweight carbon fiber structure with a jet-inspired, pretty spartan, interior. It is all about precision and engineering, featuring a hybrid powertrain that is said to be good for at least 720 horsepower. Production run for the P1 is 500 units and McLaren is trying to presell as many as they can before they start making it.
