It is probably too soon to expect a racing version of the new McLaren P1, but people it is never too soon to think about it! That’s what the guys at BoldRide.com have been up to, except they’ve gone a step further and had their thoughts visualized by Hansen Arts. Here’s your McLaren P1 GTR in Gulf livery .
Apart from the livery and all the sponsorship decals, this racing P1 also sports an aerodynamic kit with a larger front air splitter, a revised rear diffuser, and a fixed rear wing in place of the road-going P1’s active spoiler.
We really do hope to see the P1 on the race track someday, and we also hope Ferrari and Porsche also make racing versions of their hyper cars, LaFerrari and 918, and all these fine machines meet at the Le Mans 24 Hours to slug it out; just like the good old days!
