Dutch super car Spyker confirmed its return to the Salon Prive, UK’s most prestigious car show sponsored this year by luxury watchmaker Audemars Piguet. They will bring along the B6 Venator, a sports car they revealed earlier this year at Geneva Motor Show.

The B6 will be showcased on the Concept Lawn and as part of the Audemars Piguet British Super Car Show at Syon House in September. Also on display will be the new C8 Aileron, already sold out for this year.

Spyker super cars have always been quite popular because of their different, and often radical, approach to luxury and performance. They have the power and the speed, but a Spyker is about making a statement. It’s about the lavish design; the crazy and wonderful little details that make this car so special.

With the B6 Venator though, the Dutch company is entering the sports car segment, putting up a fight for the likes of Porsche 911 and Maserati GranTurismo. The compact sports car is powered by a 370 horsepower mid-mounted V6 engine, which given the car’s dry weight of 1,400 kg, will guarantee an exciting drive.

The Venator is confirmed for production and is expected to cost around $150K.

Salon Privé’s David Bagley said: “I’m delighted to have Spyker at Salon Privé once again and showing a stunning line-up on both the Concept Lawn and as part of the  Audemars Piguet British Super Car Show. We have a brilliant show coming together this year, the biggest and best ever in fact, and we’re very much looking forward to seeing it all come together over the three days in September.”
