What’s happened here is a joint effort by two fine tuners, Prior Design and Famous Parts, to provide a customer with one unique Audi R8. Dubbed the White Phoenix, this R8 features a version of PD GT-850 wide body kit that gives it the looks of an R8 LMS race car.
The first job was to fit the car with Prior’s kit, consisting of bumpers, hood, side skirts, rear wing, rear diffuser, and other touches such as the roof scoop or various carbon inserts that make a big difference in the car’s appearance when you see it in the flesh.
Then the guys at Famous Part got busy with the paint job. Rather than wrapping the R8 is some sort of showy color, they decided to paint it in a more dignified pearl matt white. The exterior was then adorned with a set of Rotiform forged alloy wheels, in size 10×20 up front, and 13×20 with 345/ 25R20 Continental Sport contact tyres out back.
FP has painted the outer lip on the new rims in the same white as the exterior to make them look a bit more special. The magnetic ride system has been fiddled with, a Capristo flap sports exhaust system has been fitted, and the ECU software and air piping system were swapped for high performance ones.
And there you have it, one of the world’s most unique Audi R8s.
