Looks like Steve Saleen is keen to make up for all that time he wasted laying low, away from the business. They are announcing new projects one after another, with the latest one promising a new Saleen supercar.

No details at all have been revealed about this new Saleen supercar, apart from the fact that it will be an updated version of the S5S Raptor of 2008; a car that no one remembers. We do, however, remember the magnificent Saleen S7, and all the trophies it won as a race car.

The new Saleen supercar will certainly be an interesting machine as well, as Steve Saleen rarely disappoints. According to the man himself, speaking to MotorTrend, the car will be ready for launch in about two years.

Recently they launched a new series of special edition Mustangs named after the icons of American stock car racing, beginning with the Mustang George Follmer Edition.
