BLIS – Blind spot information system
This is a system that allows a driver to notice vehicles in their blind spot through the use of two multiple-beam radar modules. To provide a warning that a vehicle is approaching a driver’s blind spot, the radar identifies it and flips on an indicator light to alert the driver of this invasion. The Blind spot Information System uses an infra-red sensor that triggers a light on inside the car to indicate that another vehicle may be in the drivers blind spot.
