When Audi specialists at MTM tuning center got hold of the latest generation Audi RS6, the C7 Avant 4.0 TFSI V8 with 560 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque, they didn’t think for minute the car has enough power. Quite the contrary, they thought it is really rather weak and couple do with a couple hundred more HP.
At this point we have to remind you that we are talking here about a big estate car that goes from 0 to 60 mph in a scarcely believable 3.9 seconds in its standard form. So what is going on inside the head of those who deem that not quick enough, we really have no idea.
The main modification implemented on the Audi RS6 by MTM is the addition of a stainless steel exhaust system with flaps in the front and new silencers at the back. That and a few other adjustments here and there pushed the output to 722 horsepower and 855 Nm of torque.
That colossal power translates into a 0 to 100 km/h sprint time of 3.3 seconds, and a top speed of 340 km/h. You can stay with the likes of Ferrari F12 or Lamborghini Aventador in this car.
The upgrade package costs 13,800 Euros, of which four grand alone is the price of that magical exhaust system. A set of 20-inch MTM bimoto wheels with 285/35 ZR 20 Michelin Pilot Supersports and MTM-tuned Brembo brakes are also included.
