The latest special edition treatment for the 2014 SRT Viper GTS is a styling package called Anodized Carbon. As the rather intriguing name suggests, the package’s main highlight is a special body color. Exclusive exterior and interior appointments complement the paint job.
The Anodized Carbon metallic matte exterior color is being used for the first time by the Chrysler Group. The combination of depth of the metallic finish depth and the dark matte color as the base not only brings out the lustrous curves of the Viper, it also gives it a much more sinister look.
Other styling bits and pieces that help the SRT Viper GTS Anodized Carbon achieve this level of aggressiveness in style include Black Vapor Chrome five-spoke “Rattler” wheels, Gloss Black GTS badge, Satin Black exhaust bezel, Anodized Carbon fuel filler door, orange brake calipers, carbon fiber brake ducts and rear applique.
As for the interior, you get Alcantara wrapped headliner, door bolsters and knee blockers; orange accent stitching on the Nappa leather wrapped door trim, center console and instrument panel and on the Nappa leather and Alcantara seats. The combination of orange and carbon fiber accents and the orange stitching makes the cabin of the SRT Viper is a very special place to be in.
The all-aluminum 8.4-liter, mid-front V-10 overhead-valve engine with 640 horsepower and 600 lb.-ft. of torque remains unchanged.
