Vin Diesel confirmed the release date for the seventh installment of the Fast and Furious franchise. After Paul Walker’s death, rumors started flying around regarding the faith of Fast and Furious 7. Now it’s settled, and it comes from the film’s lead character.
Vin put an end to speculations releasing the picture you see above, from the last scene he and Paul filmed together, and the following statement on his Facebook:
“There was a unique sense of completion, of pride we shared… in the film we were now completing… the magic captured… and, in just how far we’ve come… Fast and Furious 7 will be released April 10th 2015!”
Paul Walker, who played the role of Brian O’Connor in Fast and Furious movies, died on November 30, 2013, in a fiery car crash in California. He was a passenger in his friend and partner’s red Porsche Carrera GT when the driver lost control of the vehicle and smashed into a tree. Investigators concluded afterward that the only cause of the crash was excessive speed, and that there was nothing wrong with the car. That said, the Carrera GT’s tricky handling, which is the main characteristic of the car besides sheer speed, probably had something to do with it.
