German tuner HPerformance released wanted to make sure the announcement for their 500-hp Audi TT RS kit grabs a lot of attention. So instead of one they brought out two cars, doubling the effect. This way they can talk about 1,000 horsepower, which is a sure way of getting the headline.
HPerformance Audi TT RS power upgrade package is a rather thorough one, including a bespoke HPerformance exhaust system from the turbo to the tailpipe, HJS racing cats and remote control valves, HPXT-510 turbocharger, and aluminum intercooler.
What’s more, there is a RAM air charging at the front with 80mm pipes, special ignition plugs and new ECU software. The result of all this is a meaty 500 horsepower and 660 Nm of torque, which can be increased to 710 Nm using an overboost function. HPerformance is also working on a 700 horsepower kit for the TT RS.
Both HPerformance Audi TT RS models also get Bilstein B16 coilovers, H&R stabilizers, ceramic braking system from Audi R8 GT and steel flex braking pipes. The Black one gets a 3 DSG transmission, while the white one benefits from Hperformance clutch upgrade with single mass flywheel, reinforced pressing plate and sintered metal friction washer.
