Mille Miglia is the most wonderful car event of the year for its combination of magnificent cars, amazing sceneries, and the Italian attitude toward rules and regulations. This year’s event was especially brilliant as it had a lot more sunshine that the last couple of years. There have been mishaps along the way, but on the whole the event was a complete success.

Now, for those of us who couldn’t make it to Italy to at least witness the historic race from Berscia to Rome and back, Mercedes-Benz decided to release daily updates of the event in form of some beautiful pictures featuring their cars, including mainly the SL Gullwings and the SLRs.

2014 Mille Miglia has come to an end now, so we put those pictures together and created one big gallery so you can enjoy the cars and the views – La Dolce Vita, indeed!
