It is not exactly a secret that many people hated the way the new BMW X6 looks. In fact if Facebook has an unlike button, this car could have set a new record. That is the case with most new BMW models in the first few days until people get used to their looks. Now though, they have released a preview of the car with M Sport Package, which does make things slightly better.
2015 BMW X6 M Sport features sportier bumpers, the shadow line trim package that swaps most of the shiny chrome for matte aluminum – this is particularly helpful at the front, as the new grille makes the headlights look a bit less gigantic – and 19-inch M wheels.
There are also extra air vents and a couple of M badges adorning the exterior. The M treatment continues inside the cabin with Alcantara-accented leather upholstery, sport M steering wheel, aluminum trim and steel pedals and sills.
2015 BMW X6 M Sport can be had with all the engines in the range, including two straight-six, one petrol and one diesel, and a big V8. But the big question is, has the M package managed to make the car look any better? Did BMW deliberately made the X6 ugly so they can sell more of the more expensive M Sport version?
