Even Audi is prepared to admit that their Q5 crossover, and its little bro the Q3, are among the most boring cars in their segment. They are fabulous cars, but they are about as interesting to live with a drawer. Thankfully, help is at hand and it comes from British tuner Kahn Design in form of a Wide Track package.

You are probably familiar with Kahn Design Audi Q5 wide track. The package itself is not new, but this is the first time we see a fully blacked-out version, and it looks sick. Okay, it won’t make the cut as a gangsta car in Compton, or Bronx. But it will definitely scare the bejesus out of an old lady in Knightsbridge!

The goal here was to make the Kahn Design Audi Q5 look more like the big Q7. So it’s fitted with front bumper replacement, rear diffuser replacement, rear hatch blend, front and rear wide wheel arches, Kahn enamel wing shields and a quad exhaust system in stainless steel.

An important part of the styling is the 9.5 x 22” Kahn RS600 wheels in a matt black finish. They make the red brake caliper stand out, which is clever, as the same color combo is used to style the interior. In there you get front and rear seats in quilted and perforated black leather, rev counter fascia in red, door entry sill plates in stainless steel and vented foot pedals in machined aluminum.
