Golf IV R32 is seriously old news, but German tuner HPerformance decided it is the perfect candidate for a special treatment they had in mind. They’ve upgraded the V6-powered hot hatch from its standard 240 horsepower state into a 650 horsepower monster.

Actually, the power output is customizable between 500 and 650 horsepower depending on your mood. In order to achieve this level of performance the tuner has equipped the engine in Golf IV R32 with a Precision-PT6235 turbocharger and new connecting rods, as well as high-performance fuel pump, flap-controlled exhaust system, and an intercooler.

HPerformance Golf R32 is a terrifying thing to drive, but thankfully they have fitted it with high-performance brakes with 356×32 mm discs at the front and 304×28 mm discs at the back. For the suspension they have mixed Bilstein shock absorbers with H&R stabilizers – quite a recipe.

Other upgrades worth mentioning include carbon tube, upholstery and fire extinguisher plus Recaro Pole Position seats. Total cost of these mods is 20,000 Euros which is way more than what the base car is worth!
