Russia’s badass president Vladimir Putin might be quick to occupy neighboring countries, but his passion project to make for himself an awesome presidential limousine has been in the works for quite a while without any significant result. The design is finalized, but the car still lacks an engine.
That might be about to change though, as recent reports suggest that German sports car maker Porsche has been tapped to make a bespoke V12 unit for Putin’s limo. It has not been confirmed by the auto maker, but sources know even about the performance figures this engine is supposed to boast.
Apparently, the Porsche V12 in Putin’s limo is capable of producing 800 horsepower, which should be enough to make up for the immense weight of the protective components that are sure to be featured on this bullet and bombproof car. If for whatever reason Putin didn’t like this car, he can always ask the guys at Dartz Motorz to make him a bespoke ride fit for a dictator president.
Vladimir Putin wanted a unique limo for years to keep up with his American counterpart who has ‘The Beast’ Cadillac One. After all, this former KGB officer who is as skilled in martial arts, firing weapons, and interrogation as he is in politics, has a dangerously oversized ego.
