Maybe Horacio Pagani needs to knock on wood or something, because Zondas are crashing left and right. A few days ago we told you about this yellow Zonda crashing in Dubai, and now another one, this time in the United Kingdom.
This totaled Pagani Zonda is, by the looks of things, a Zonda F in exposed carbon with polished wheels and beautiful red detailing. It is, or rather was, Zonda No. 46, powered by a 600 horsepower version of the AMG 7.3 liter V12 engine.
The cause of the accident is unknown, but it appears the driver lost control of the car at speed, and ended up crashing into someone’s garden, ripping off steel barriers and some trees in the process. The damage to the front-end and side panels is substantial, but the rear of the car is almost intact. One would imagine a good deal of damage has been done to the Zonda’s underside, what with it being wide and low.
Pagani Zonda F can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds and reach top speed of 350 km/h. It is a product of 2005 and thus it has no standard driving aids, and ceramic brakes were optional extras for it.
