Sights and Sounds: Hamann Rolls-Royce Wraith

It takes a lot of guts to set about modifying a Rolls-Royce, especially in the hope of making it sporty. It’s kind of like entering Michelle Obama into a bikini contest. It is doable, but doesn’t feel right somehow. Still, here’s Hamann’s take on the Rolls-Royce Wraith; a treatment in which they make the Roller lower, louder, and somewhat cooler.

The biggest highlight of Hamann Rolls-Royce Wraith is a bespoke exhaust system they have developed for the English car. It makes the car’s V12 BMW engine come alive and sing like it’s a carefree, run of the mill muscle car or something. The Wraith is pitched by the manufacturer as their most dynamic car ever, and it has a big powerful engine. So the sport exhaust treatment is justified.

Apart from the exhaust, Hamann Rolls-Royce Wraith also features lowered suspension – so chances are the car’s cushy ride is ruined – and a set of Hamann’s signature wheels in matte black – presumably to make sure the ride is definitely ruined.
