In the last photo Pagani Automobili posted on social media before turning in for the Holidays they are showing us a Huayra with a shadow that doesn’t belong to it. In fact, we have seen that shadow before, on this winged model which is believed to be the upcoming Pagani Huayra S.

So we’re counting this as a teaser for this mysterious Pagani Huayra S. And it’s not just this shadow, either, hinting at the imminent arrival of a super Huayra. Pagani recently achieved the one million Instagram followers milestone, and on that occasion they released a “grazie” photo showing the bewinged test mule in action. So yes, it’s on.

As for the specs of this Pagani Huayra S, it’s too soon to tell for sure, but the massive front spoiler and the giant rear wing hint at the fact that this car is designed primarily for track work. It is most likely going to be a hard-core, lightweight, more powerful, track-focused version of the Huayra. Looks like we’re going to have to wait longer for the highly anticipated Roadster version.
