Kia Motors has announced official pricing on 2010 Sorento crossover, rivaling new Hyundai Tucson and Nissan Qashqai. The new Sorento is totally different than the old generation and comes with a new sporty design, two new engines and lots of new equipments. But it maintains its winning card which is lower price than the competitors. while delivering  better value. It starts at $19,995.

The Sorento comes in two LX and EX trim levels and can be had with two or four-wheel-drive system. The car is fairly high-tech in comparison to its main rivals featuring things like monocoque chassis, MacPherson strut front and multi-link rear suspension and electronic systems like ESC(Electronic Stability Control), HAC(Hill-start Assist Control), DBC(Down-hill Brake Control), TPMS(Tire Pressure Monitoring System) and RPAS(Rear Parking Assist System).

Depending on the model, new Kia Sorento will be equipped with a six, eight or 10-speaker audio system, with MP3 and iPod connectivity, plus built-in or external amplifier and a new sat-nav system with a 6.5-inch screen. Remote controls for the audio system are mounted on the steering wheel. Available high-tech features will include: keyless entry, engine start button, reversing safety camera, built-in sat-nav and panoramic glass sunroof.

There are also two optional packages: $2,000 Limited Package which adds a navigation system with real-time traffic, Infinity sound system, 18-inch chrome wheels, interior accent lighting and high-style interior color theme and the $1,500 Premium Package which adds roof-rails, leather-seats, heated front seats and a rear-view backup camera. Also available is a Third Row Package for $700.
