BMW tuner G-power has released details of their new edition package, available for BMW X5M and X6M high performance SUVs. The TYPHOON S aerodynamics pack includes enlarged air inlets at the front skirt and the exit air outlets at the bonnet, providing more cool air for the 600 hp engine, extended side sills, rear diffuser, roof spoiler and trunk lid wing (only for the X6). This kit is made of carbon fiber.
G-Power BMW’s are also equipped with sport wheels and tires. For the X5M you get one-part G-POWER SILVERSTONE EDITION aluminum wheels, and for the X6M three-part G-POWER RS forged. Both sets are in the dimensions 11×23 and 12×23 inches and are wrapped in 315/25 ZR 23 high performance Michelin tires. The cars are also fitted with G-POWER sports spring set which reduces the ride height by 30mm.
The original 4.4l V8 BI-Turbo engine in the BMW X5M and X6M is really powerful in its factory form with 555hp. Nevertheless, G-Power tweaks it a bit and gets 600hp and 700 nm of torque out of it. They also remove the Vmax limiter, so the car can speed up over 300 km/h while the 0-100 km/h sprint time is 4.5 seconds.
For the interior, the tuner offers the usual range of leather and suede upholstery along with unique features such as ergonomically formed sports steering wheel, a speedometer in G-POWER design and noble carbon covers for the side linings, central console and dashboard
