Sportec is one of the finest Swiss tuners, but this Audi you see here is a work of APS of Brackley, their UK importer. The car is the Audi RS6 Avant, which comes as standard with a 5.0 liter twin-turbo V10 and it’s one of the most bonkers estate cars in the market today. Nevertheless, the tuners offer two performance upgrade packages which make it go off the hook.

You see the stock RS6 has 572bhp (426 kW) and 479lb.ft of torque, but thanks to some upgrades for the car’s ECU, ignition, fueling and exhaust system, APS can easily take it up to 650 hp and 740Nm (540lb.ft) of torque. With this package the RS6 can go from zero to 62 mph in just 4.4 seconds with a top speed of 190 mph.

If that’s not enough for you, then go for the stage two, in which you get 700 hp and 800Nm (584lb.ft) of peak torque. The effect of this added power is not that drastic on performance as the acceleration time is 4.2 seconds, and the top speed remains the same 190 mph.

Pricing for the stage 1 is £2800, while the pointless stage 2 costs a whopping £6500. APS says that upgrades for suspension and brakes will be available in the coming months, which raises the question did they just increased the power without doing anything about those things?!
