Fans of Brabus know that Widestar badge is usually reserved for their SUVs, but they also have such treatment for the Mercedes SLS AMG. To be unveiled at this year’s Essen Motor Show, this unique SLS is widened and lowered and features lots of carbon fiber parts on its body kit, which to be honest we don’t really dig!
Those exposed carbon fiber parts may also be painted in contrasting matte or gloss finish. The aerodynamic is enhanced by using a front spoiler lip, a magnificent rear diffuser and a cool tail spoiler. The rear bumpers also has two vertical air vents on the Widestar model which gives it an awesome character.
The car has a 20mm wider track at the back and flared arches at front which make space for those huge BRABUS Monoblock forged wheels available in different designs and colors and 20 or 21-inch size. The wide effect is further increased by the Bilstein suspension that drop the car by 30mm. The suspension also features an updated ride control system that has sport, standard and comfort settings.
Brabus also provides this car with a high-performance titanium exhaust system with four 84 mm tailpipes with active valves in it. This system give the car’s 6.3 liter V8 an extra 10bhp, and an even deeper soundtrack.
The interior is classic Brabus, lots of black leather with red stitching and illuminated door sills with Brabus logo in it. Alcantara is also used extensively to cover the dashboard and doors. It also has a 400 km/h sport speedometer.
