Wimmer Rennsporttechnik has already tuned Mercedes C63 AMG several times, but they can’t stop. Here’s the latest C63 which they call Performance because it’s so darn fast!

Don’t let that cartoonish paint job fool you, this is a serious machine. The 6.3 liter V8 under the bonnet has been heavily revised and modified with stuff like sports camshaft, reworked  cylinder head, high performance manifolds, down pipe and high flow catalytic converters, optimized air intake, a stainless steel exhaust system and a sport air filter. The result is a massive 601 hp and 720 Nm of torque.

While optimizing engine electronics, Wimmer has also unlocked the top speed limiter so the car can now achieve a top speed of 329 km/h. That’s its party piece.

To cope with the speed, Wimmer provides the car with BBS CH-R alloy wheels in dimensions of 8.5 or 9.5 x 19 inches, wrapped in Dunlop tires in the dimensions of 235/35-19 at the front axle and 265/35-19  at the rear axle as well as uprated suspension. Going this fast in a Mercedes C63 is awesome but it’s also quite expensive as the engine tuning alone costs 19,900 Euro.
