Kia Motors confirmed they will be unveiling a new sports sedan concept at the Frankfurt Motor show next month.

By the looks of things, this yet unnamed concept is a coupe-like four-door sedan. Kia says it shows the distinctive new design direction for the brand. If this is where Kia is heading with its new models, bring it on! We certainly can’t wait to see what they have in mind for the next Forte Koup.

Kia has also confirmed this sports sedan is a rear-wheel-drive machine, but there is no word on the powertrain. So, is this the Korean’s new BMW 3 Series fighter? We’ll soon find out.

The car will be on display at the Frankfurt Motor Show Kia stand in Hall 3.1, booth A21. They will also unveil the three-door version of the all-new Rio and a facelift version of the Kia Soul.

“No matter from which perspective you look at it – this concept car is roaring with energy and ready for take-off,” says Peter Schreyer, Kia Motors Chief Design Officer, proudly. “I believe the car is a strong statement from Kia: we are ready to fast forward to an all new chapter.”
