The all-new 2013 Mercedes SL has just made its debut at the Detroit Motor Show, and already Lorinser has come up with rather thorough styling package for the car.

Previewed here in this rendering, the new SL by Lorinser comes with a revised front-end over the standard car, featuring more muscular elements, which amazingly make the car’s enormous headlights look smaller, and prettier.

We also quite like the modified air intakes and the LED daytimers, which are more pronounced than those on the base car. Lorinser’s SL also gets a new set of side skirts, and – almost certainly – a boot-lid spoiler and a diffuser, because Lorinser doesn’t do half-assed jobs!

Lowered suspension and a set of fancy wheels round up the package. Don’t expect however to see it out in the real world anytime soon, as the car itself isn’t yet available to anyone.

The SL’s retro design shows a ton of promise for modification. That’s something to keep busy with until the AMG versions of the car arrive.
