Following these official renderings, Kia released a couple more teasers of the new Kia Forte/Cerato (also known as the K3 in KDM) on its Facebook page. The pics are checkered and rather weird, but they do reveal more of the new Forte. You get a good look at the car’s new head and taillights, and its side profile. The new Forte also sports Kia’s signature grille. Put this lot together and you have to say, the new Forte is quite a good-looking mid-size sedan.

Scheduled to go on sale in early 2013, the new Forte will also get hatchback and two-door coupe – or as Kia says Koup – variants. The hatchback will look very similar to the sedan in terms of design, but the Koup will be a whole lot different, and quite a bit more interesting. If the current Koup is any indication, the new car will also be a looker. We’re just hoping Kia also improves its dynamics a bit. You know what would be awesome? If they make the Koup rear-wheel drive!
