Nissan unveiled the new Extrem concept at the Sao Paulo Motor Show in Brazil, a car that is part GT-R, part Juke, Part 370Z. Sounds like quite a recipe. In essence, it’s a small and sporty crossover with an aggressive design and an aggressive name, which hint at the car’s potential capabilities.

With a length of 3.8 meters, the Extrem is even smaller than the Juke on the outside, but offers a 2.5 meters wheelbase. The car is actually designed to look like the classic 240Z sports car, and it sort of pulls is off, especially in side profile.

Designed in America, the Extrem is a pure show car and doesn’t have an engine. Chances of this car being produced are quite slim actually, but some of its cues might be used in future products.

The Extrem might never see the light of day, but Nissan will probably add a sporty three-door crossover to its lineup very soon. The idea of a small and efficient car with a bit of off-road capability is hugely appealing.
