Kia revealed the first pictures of the new GT version of the Cee’d and Pro_Cee’s ahead of their official debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. Once again Peter Schreyer and his team come up with a truly amazing car. The GT has lots of swagger, lots of style, and lots of substance.

Some of the exterior appointments of the GT series Cee’d include distinctive LED daytime running lights, dual-exhaust pipe, 19-inch alloys, red brake calipers, and red accents in the front bumper. You really can’t fault it, it’s a fabulous design for a car of this size and class.

Inside the cabin while most of the trims and equipments are standard Cee’d, you do get some exclusive features like Recaro seats, which are very cool.

As for the power, the GT gets the new turbocharged 1.6-litre GDI petrol engine with 204 PS (201 bhp) and 265 Nm (195lb/ft), spinning the front wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox. It does 0 to 100km/h (62mph) in 7.9 seconds.

Kia Pro_Cee’d GT will go on sale in the second half of 2013, with the Cee’d GT joining the lineup towards the end of the year.
